Miami Events - Fashion Project, Bal Harbour Shops: Morphing

Transforming an experimental space in Bal Harbour Shops, the Fashion Project challenges the way we do our window-shopping. While trends and styles are often on display in store windows, renowned curator Judith Clark explores how fashion can be presented more creatively to the public. The initial exhibition of the Fashion Project launched on April 10. On May 28, the special showcase moves into phase two: Morphing. This museum-like exhibit merges the worlds of fashion and culture and will be open through August 10.

Bal Harbour is bringing the shopping experience to a cutting-edge new level of interactivity. Book your stay at daddy O hotel for quick access to this popular attraction, where high style is a masterful work of art. While you're here, head to this mega mall and add the biggest names in luxury retail to your wardrobe. Make your way up to the third floor to see the Fashion Project, a celebration of fashion through the lens of culture. Bal Harbour Shops is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a very bold fashion statement that you won't want to miss. Come stroll along the shops, get a sense of the local flavors, and experience the vibrant arts scene in Miami. Check out fashion over the years, and see how rare items like a 1913 Ballet Russes' costume and a 1999 futuristic remote control dress can be repurposed, or morphed, into something new. The Fashion Project will be open daily from noon to 8 p.m. on Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
